Joint-It Algae Remover Step By Step Guide
Apply product using a spray or watering can to saturate surface. On walls / vertical surfaces, start to spray from the bottom of the wall in an upwards direction to avoid product running.
Step 2
Visible improvement after 24 hours.
Step 3
If your surface is heavily soiled, apply product as above and work it into the surface with a hard brush.
Step 4
Wait 30 minutes.
Step 5
Power-wash treated area.
Step 6
Reapply Joint-It Algae Remover using a watering can or spray.

Joint-It Algae Remover can be used on most outdoor surfaces, including natural stone, porcelain & concrete paving, walls, paths, roofs, decking, tarmac and block paving. You can even use it on your green garden ornaments!
This depends on the porosity, type and texture of the surface. We highly recommend testing a small hidden area of the surface to determine quantity required. The more porous the stone, the more product you will need.
For the 5L Concentrate: Product is supplied concentrated and should be diluted at a ratio of 7 parts water to 1 part concentrate. Coverage is approx. 12m2 per litre, however this depends on the porosity of the surface and the severity of the algae/fungi/mould.
For the 1L Ready-To-Use Spray: Product is supplied ready-to-use and covers approx. 12m2.
BEFORE USE
Brush away leaves, debris and any heavy growth before treatment.
Joint-It Algae Remover cannot be applied in the rain or if rain is expected in 4 hours. Do not apply on or close to shrubs, plants or grass. Leftover product must not be emptied into fresh water, ponds, streams, etc. Keep children and pets away from treated area until it is dry.
HOW TO USE
Always test a small hidden area before beginning works.
1L Ready To Use: Shake well before use. Spray directly onto the affected area and leave the product to work. Visible improvement within 24-48 hours.
5L Concentrate: Product is concentrated and must be diluted at a ratio of 1 part concentrate to 7 parts water before use. Spray or brush directly onto the affected area and leave the product to work. Visible improvement within 24-48 hours.
In Severe Cases of Algae: Use a stiff brush to work the product into the surface. Carry out a second application if required after 72 hours.
