At Joint-It, we are proud to introduce our latest innovation in outdoor paving solutions: Joint-It Elite. Specifically designed for smaller joints, this cutting-edge jointing grout for porcelain and smooth natural stone, offers unparalleled ease of use and long-lasting durability. Available in three colours—Midnight, Fawn, and Dove Grey—Joint-It Elite is set to redefine standards for professional contractors and homeowners alike.
Traditional methods of pointing using sand and cement can be both time-consuming and labour-intensive. Not only do these methods often lead to inconsistent finishes, but they can also crack over time, allowing weeds to take root in your joints.
Joint-It Elite eliminates these challenges by offering a ready-to-use, air-cured formulation that’s simple to apply and tough enough to withstand the elements. With its advanced multiple glue technology, Joint-It Elite sets rock hard, ensuring your joints stay intact for years, even in the face of heavy traffic, power washing, and freezing temperatures.
Joint-It Elite is the ideal choice for jointing porcelain and smooth natural stone paving, delivering a superior finish with minimal effort. Its unique formulation is non-staining, so your delicate stones will remain clean and beautiful without the risk of discolouration.
Joint-It Elite is available in three versatile colours, offering the perfect match for your outdoor aesthetic:
Each 12.5KG bucket is vacuum-packed to preserve the quality of the product, ensuring it’s ready to use as soon as it’s exposed to air.
Achieving professional-quality results has never been easier. Here’s how to apply Joint-It Elite in just four steps:
Prepare the Area: Ensure your joints are clean and free of debris. Make sure your base is permeable—Joint-It Elite must be applied on a 6:1 sand and cement base to allow proper water drainage.
Brush It In: Pour Joint-It Elite onto the surface and use a soft brush to work the product into the joints. Make sure the joints are at least 2mm wide and 18mm deep for the best results.
Wet the Area: Use clean water to lightly spray the surface, helping to activate the air-curing process.
Leave to Set: Allow Joint-It Elite to air-cure, leaving you with a smooth, long-lasting finish that’s resistant to weeds, frost, and weather conditions.
Pre-Sealing for Best Results: For surfaces such as limestone, black granite, or flamed/honed stone, we highly recommend pre-sealing your paving before applying Joint-It Elite. This prevents any potential staining and ensures optimal adhesion.
Maintenance Advice: While Joint-It Elite requires minimal upkeep, we recommend using Joint-It So Clean or Joint-It Algae Remover every 3-4 months, particularly in shaded areas or after winter, to keep your paving looking its best.
Pet Care: Pet urine can damage paving joints over time due to its acidic nature. To avoid this, clean your paving regularly if your pets frequently use the area. Sealing your slabs can also help protect against corrosion.
Joint-It Elite is perfect for professional contractors looking to deliver flawless results in less time. The brush-in application means less labour and more consistent finishes, making it a favourite among the trade. But it’s also a great option for DIY homeowners who want to upgrade their patio or driveway with minimal hassle.
Whether you’re installing new paving or refurbishing an old one, Joint-It Elite is the ultimate jointing compound for anyone who values quality, durability, and aesthetics.
With Joint-It Elite, there’s no need to settle for less when you can have the best. This air-cured jointing grout delivers a flawless, long-lasting finish that withstands the toughest conditions, keeping your outdoor spaces beautiful and weed-free for years to come.
